Sí, siempre. La nuestra es una moda con alma. Nosotros (Raju y Laura) venimos de lugares muy diferentes, pero tenemos una visión en común: concienciar a las personas que una moda diferente es posible. Es un reto, pero creemos que es un camino que no tiene retorno y cada vez hay una mayor concienciación por la sostenibilidad.

firiri significa «movimiento con el viento» en nepalí. Aquí no tenemos ninguna palabra que tenga el mismo significado: movimiento de ondear en el aire, como las coloridas banderas budistas de oración, pero allí sí la tienen, y nos pareció que le encajaba bien como nombre para nuestro proyecto. Para nosotros firiri representa el movimiento del cambio y fluir de ideas. Queremos que firiri sea más que moda; no sólo queremos vender moda y ropa, sino que también queremos vender un sentimiento, una experiencia… Diseñamos experiencias y compartimos emociones.

Hecho que no siempre ocurre con el fast fashion…

¡Es imposible pagar un salario digno vendiendo camisetas a tres o cinco euros!

Yes always. We are fashion with soul. We (Raju and Laura) come from very different places, but we have a common vision: to make people aware that a different fashion is possible. It is a challenge, but we believe it is a path that has no return back and there is a growing awareness of sustainability.

firiri means "movement with the wind" in Nepali. Here we don't have any words that have the same meaning: waving movement in the air, like the colorful Buddhist prayer flags, but there they do, and we felt that it fit well as a name for our project. For us firiri represents the movement of change and flow of ideas. We want firiri to be more than fashion; We not only want to sell fashion and clothes, but we also want to sell a feeling, an experience… We design experience and share emotion.

Fact that does not always happen with fast fashion...

It is impossible to pay a fair living wage selling t-shirts for three or five euros!
