Inspired by the famous Nepalese architect Araniko. During the Malla dynasty period, the Chinese emperor Kublai Khan requested Nepal to send some artists to make statues and temples in Beijing, Lhasa and other cities. In 1260 AD, King Jaya Bhimdev Malla sent 80 Nepalese artists to Lhasa under the leadership of Araniko, they built many temples, stupas, and pagoda-style monasteries in Beijing, Lhasa, Tibet, and in their own country, Nepal.
