Life Stories
Every garment carries a story. The story of the person who creates it.
We want to ensure fair conditions, respect, and real opportunities. So they can care for their families, grow, and live with peace of mind.
When you choose firiri, you also choose to support these lives. Here are some of their stories.
Sanu
My name is Sanu and I am a seamstress at the firiri factory in Kathmandu. My husband Kiran takes our three children to school while I work.
I have flexible hours and can support my family while still enjoying time with my children.
Renu
I am Renu, I am 28 years old and I love sewing. I work in Kathmandu creating garments for firiri.
My son goes to school while my husband and I work. It makes me happy to do what I love and take care of my family.
Sunita
My name is Sunita and I sew garments for firiri in Kathmandu. My husband works in a motorcycle workshop.
Thanks to our income, our son can go to school. And at home, whoever arrives first… prepares dinner.
Ajaya
I am Ajaya, I have two daughters and I work in quality control at firiri.
Thanks to this job, my daughters can go to university. Both of them want to study computer science.
